      Accessing our Online User Guides

      The Online User Guides in the Comtrac Help Centre provide users with comprehensive, step-by-step guides on all Comtrac features. They are accessible via invite / registration only.

      Online User Guides

      Our Online User Guides library in the Comtrac Help Centre contains the full range of Step-by-Step Guides regarding Comtrac's functions. It is a live library that is continually updated as new features and functionality are introduced into the system.

      To access these Guides, you will need to be invited / registered via the below process. This is different to accessing our Quick Start Videos, which are freely available without registration.

      Accessing the Online User Guides for the first time:

      1. As a new Comtrac user you will need to open the link in the registration email sent from noreply@comtrac.com.au titled "You've been given access to content at help.comtrac.com.au".Learning Academy Email
        1. Registration Email Not Received: If you haven't received this email please contact your system administrator. These emails are sent after they've contacted Comtrac Support (via servicedesk@comtrac.com.au or the online Support Form) and advised us that you have been set up as a new user.
          1. If you are unsure who to contact in your agency or organisation to receive access to our Guides, please reach out to us by completing a Support Form.
      2. Enter a new password, confirm and save to access the Guides. This password is only relevant to the Online User Guides, you may have a different password to access Comtrac itself.Learning Academy Sign-Up

       Note: Password must be at least 8 characters long and include lower and uppercase letters, a number, and a symbol.

      Accessing the Online User Guides with an existing account:

      1. Select the "Sign-In" button in the Comtrac Help Centre if you aren't already signed in (if you are, navigate to step 3). The sign-in button is in the Help Centre header, including the header in this current page. Sign In-1
      2. Enter your Comtrac Help Centre Email and Password into the sign-in page to log-in (forgot password?).Sign In Page
      3. Once logged in the Comtrac Help Centre Dashboard will now contain our full range of detailed step-by-step guides!Online User Guides (Full)

      • Invitation to access our Online User Guides: Users set up in Comtrac during initial implementation will receive an email link to register for our Online User Guides. For all users invited after initial implementation, please contact your system administrator and advise them to reach out to us by submitting a support ticket with your email details if you haven't received the email. Alternatively, submit a support ticket to us yourself if you are unsure who to reach out to internally.
      • Forgot Password / Access Issues: Try resetting your password by selecting "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page. If the issue persists, please contact your system administrator and advise them to reach out to us by submitting a support ticket. Your password may also be different to the password you use to access Comtrac itself.
      • Comtrac Online User Guides vs Quick Start Guides: Our Online User Guides provide in-depth, step-by-step guides covering the majority of Comtrac functions and are accessible via invite only. The Quick Start Guides are a series of short videos intended to give an introduction to users on Comtrac's major functions. They don't require an invite to be accessed.
        • Please Note: Comtrac staff will never ask for your password.
      • Accessing the Comtrac Help Centre from Comtrac: Access the Comtrac Help Centre from Comtrac directly via either:
        1. Navigating to the Comtrac Homepage (click on the "Home" icon on the top left of your screen) and selecting "Guides"; ORAccessing Learning Academy (Option 1)
