# BAU Release Notes: 26 February 2026

#### This release delivers a collection of platform-wide enhancements and fixes focused on stability, security, usability, and investigation workflow improvements across the Comtrac environment. Updates in this release strengthen governance controls, improve integration reliability, and refine user experience across core case management, reporting, and field operations. No major workflow changes have been introduced.

#### **1. What’s New ** 

No new modules or features have been introduced.   
This release focuses on platform integrity, usability improvements, and resolution of known issues. 

#### **1.1 Enhancements ** 

**Platform Stability & Usability** 

- Running Sheet entries now open in a separate tab when accessed from list view.
- Users return to the same list position after viewing an entry.
- Running Sheet list no longer resets to top unless refreshed.
- Increased address field character limits for improved data capture.
- Improved Google Latitude/Longitude search accuracy in Frontline. 

**Security & Platform Integrity** 

- Strengthened protection of MyReports endpoint.
- Added authentication controls to Axon Evidence integration endpoints. 
- Removed legacy unused endpoints.
- Enhanced activity logging for User Resource creation and updates. 
- Restricted incident creation to current or past dates with time zone validation.
- Restricted “Create New Case” in Field Notes to authorised roles.
- Improved response handling for Entity deletion. 

**Investigation & Evidence Management** 

- Corrected Evidence Mapping UI issue 
- Improved change tracking within Evidence Summary (Quill editor) 
- Resolved AXON integration filtering behaviour 
- Disabled AI indexing email notifications for Exhibits (configurable per client) 

**Reporting & Analytics** 

- Resolved filtering issues in Statistics Reports 
- Corrected BOE Word formatting for specific logo configurations 

**Public Portal** 

- Increased file upload limit to 25MB for public portal submissions 

#### **1.2 Fixes ** 

The following issues have been resolved: 

- Evidence Mapping interface issue 
- AXON integration filter behaviour 
- BOE document formatting issue 
- Statistics report filtering issue 
- Address region issue within Task Manager 
- Entity deletion response handling 
- Dashboard and reporting inconsistencies

- Incident creation restricted to valid date ranges

Security and audit logging controls have been strengthened to support governance and defensibility.

- Improvements apply automatically 

#### **1.7 Availability **

#### **2. Known Issues **

No critical known issues associated with this release.   
Any device or environment-specific issues will be addressed through standard patch cycles.

#### **3. Verification Status**

The following verification activities have been completed: 

- Functional testing completed across core platform areas 
- Integration validation completed for AXON endpoints 
- Reporting and document formatting fixes verified 
- Security control updates validated 

Pending Verification 

- Monitoring of AI indexing notification behaviour in live environments 
- Continued observation of Running Sheet navigation behaviour across clients
