What New?
From today, you have the following new enhancements available in both your Training (UAT) and Operational (Production) environment.- Brief Designer (Customise the brief of evidence / investigation report templates) o System Administrators Only
- Select Brief Template (select from one or more different brief of evidence templates to create/export briefs)
What does this mean for me?
The brief designer and brief template features (collectively referred to as the Configurable Brief of Evidence) allows agencies to create one or more brief templates designed around the agencies business requirements. For example;
- Brief of Evidence for Commonwealth DPP (Prosecution Copy)
- Brief of Evidence for Commonwealth DPP (Defence Copy)
- Investigation Report (Fatality Inquiry)
Where do I find the enhancements?
Brief Designer (System Administrators only) is found under Admin / Advanced / Brief Designer
Select Brief Template (Assigned Officers only) is found in the same spot where you normal create a brief of evidence namely Reporting / Investigation Report / Add Brief of Evidence.
Where do I find my previous briefs of evidence?
Don’t worry. They are still there. All COMtrac clients who had access to the previous legacy brief of evidence can still access/edit those briefs by selecting link at the top of the Brief of Evidence Page.
