13 Oct 22 Release Notes: Comtrac Homepage

We are excited to announce our new Comtrac Homepage is ready for your agency!

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a clean, versatile and configurable homepage that’s available to all users of Comtrac. Homepage will be available in your UAT environment tonight, the 13th of October 2022 and we want to encourage all users to log in and preview your updates. Keep reading for more details!

At Comtrac, we continue to help our clients make data-driven, evidence-based decisions that accelerate their investigation processes. We give our clients the ability to automatically generate digital briefs of evidence, investigator statements and other key outcome reports. Comtrac is constantly developing, enhancing and launching new tools and features to ensure our clients are well-equipped to meet the needs of their agencies and the communities they serve.

HOMEPAGE 

• Homepage will be the first screen a user lands on after logging into Comtrac, your homepage will display a dashboard as well as useful support tools. 
• The dashboard was developed to give general users the ability to view their workload quickly and access active cases in one central place.
• Team leaders, supervisors and managers will have the ability to see a number of key widgets that will give them a quick visual indicator of team notifications, tasks, open incidents and unassigned incidents. 
• The screen enables a user to have quick access to:
• Create Incident
• Search Incident
• Support Form
• Guides 
• Variety of widgets 
• Each widget opens to a more extensive list form that will now have built-in filters with a number of parameters to search on.

Enhancements 

Further enhancements have been added to this release including the ability to enter images and formulate HTML text in a number of the Reports/Brief of Evidence templates. For example, you can now insert an image, giving you the ability to show diagrams and tables and upload it into different widgets of your report template.

This enhancement to the Reports/Brief of Evidence feature allows for a more configurable and visually informative product.
